The variety of household appliances, represented in our country, can confuse even the most sophisticated consumer. The geography of the supplied products is very diverse, and the number of eminent brands is so great that it is extremely difficult to find a really high -quality product.
According to statistics, most of the household appliances market is formed by European manufacturers. Among them, it can separately distinguish brands specializing exclusively in the release of one type of goods. This category includes the manufacturer of Thomas vacuum cleaners, or the world leader in the production of refrigeration equipment – Liebherr. But most companies, focusing on a wide circle of buyers, try to expand the line of goods supplied. Brands such as, for example, Gorenje or Ariston, release a full range of built -in technology necessary for the kitchen. Manufacturers in the row Bosch or Miele cover the remaining segment of small and large household appliances.
Asian production goods are widely represented in the Russian market. Brends of Japanese origin, such as Panasonic, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sharp and others, have proven themselves well. Korea is represented by no less serious manufacturers, the most recognizable of which Samsung, Daewoo, LG. In recent years, China has also been increasing the pace of production of household appliances under its own brands, some of which are already having high competitiveness. For example, refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machines are successfully sold under the Haier brand.
It was with the arrival of Asian production techniques to the market that the Russian consumer was able to evaluate the merits of such a device as, for example, of rice carrier (manufacturers of Panasonic, Cucko and others). Also, Asian manufacturers have been leaders in the production and sale of air -cleaners for many years.
It is worth noting that despite the variety of small household appliances supplied from the Asian countries, such positions as oven and built -in hobs are presented only in the assortment of Samsung.
American brands are also present in the Russian household appliances market. An example is the company Whirlpool, supplying almost the entire line of large household appliances, including built -in, not to mention washing machines, refrigerators and hoods. Some overseas brands, including General Electric, Viking, Frigidaire, represent in Russia mainly industrial refrigeration equipment.
Despite strict competition, some domestic companies, usually engaged in a very narrow specialization, retain their positions. So, for example, under the brands of Saratov and Biryusa, refrigerators have been produced for more than a dozen years, and Elikor has been producing exclusively hoods.
