The duration of the shrinkage. This parameter is one of the main disadvantages of using wood for building buildings. The shrinkage lasts up to 2 years, and this factor does not allow internal work. To reduce the duration, you need to use the Karelian pine, which does not give shrinkage.
The danger of fire. The fact that the tree is easily ignited, everyone knows. True, there are special compositions with which the fire can be avoided. The tree is simply charred, but does not light up. These substances are not environmentally friendly, and it is not possible to evenly impregnate the tree.
Pests. If there is excessive moisture in the house, then fungi and mold, bark beetles will develop in the wood. This significantly reduces the life of the structure.
Expensive insulation. Konophaty walls – expensive and time -consuming pleasure.
Problem trim. The use of external decoration is undesirable, which can reduce the durability of the tree.
