Steel entrance doors

Wooden entrance doors have long sunk into oblivion and gave way to steel doors, with high strength and hacking resistance. Steel entrance doors are made using high -quality steels.

Steel is an alloy obtained from iron. One of the examples of common steels is a stainless steel, which is highly resistant to corrosion. Other important characteristics of steels used for the manufacture of metal entrance doors are: resistance to high temperatures and maintaining strength during heating, fire resistance and good weldability. The frame of the steel door consists of a metal profile produced by several modifications – a warm profile, a facade profile, a cold profile and a special fire -resistant profile. Thanks to the use of steel profiles, high strength and stiffness of the entire structure obtained by welding several profiles in the frame of a predetermined certain size.

Until recently, metal entrance doors had one serious drawback compared to plastic and aluminum doors – low corrosion resistance. But the development of modern technology today allows you to use high -quality galvanized steel in the manufacture of profiles, which, in a compartment with painting the door of powder or epoxy paint, minimizes the risk of corrosion.
