Advantages of LED lamps

For many decades, residential and working rooms have been covered using incandescent lamps, but today they are actively crowded with more modern analogues.

This happens in many ways, thanks to the actions of the governments of various countries, which gradually prohibit the sale of traditional incandescent lamps. Thus, with the help of slight pressure, the population gets acquainted with the latest scientific developments that allow you to make lighting more efficient.

Currently, more and more often you can find LED lamps, which have a number of advantages over Ilyich bulbs.

First of all, it should be noted that the resource of the LED lamp reaches 30-50 thousand hours of continuous operation, that is, one lamp will be enough for about 5-10 years of operation, which is much larger than the previously used light sources (as a result, light sources can easily placed in hard -to -reach places). At the same time, during operation, the indicators for lighting out the LED lamps do not change, which is very important.

The second undeniable advantage of the LED lamp is their economy in terms of energy consumption. So, according to statistics, with the same light output, they consume approximately 10 times less electricity than incandescent lamps and two times less than fluorescent lamps.

The third advantage is that LED lamps are completely environmentally friendly and do not contain harmful and toxic components that require a special way to utilize. All this does not require very careful handling of them during storage and transportation.

We should not forget about the lack of flickering effect, which allows the use of LED lamps in educational institutions and offices where small lighting spotlights are installed. Another nuance is that they can work at a temperature of up to – 60 degrees, which allows them to calmly use even in areas with severe climatic conditions.

A very important factor is also that LED lamps have a higher lighting contrast, which allows for a higher clarity of color rendering.

Modern LED lamps are produced in a spectrum from cold white to warm white color. This, at first glance, is unusual after yellow from the incandescent lamp, but according to recent studies, it is white color that is more preferable. So, it allows you to improve the color perception of the object, increases the perception of the depth of space, as well as the contrast of the image.
