Cracking of plaster or violation of the correct geometry of the room due to uneven layers, probably the most unwanted results that can comprehend the plaster-teaching when repairing the premises. In fact, there are quite a lot of possible defects with plaster, but if you want to make high -quality repairs, you should pay attention only to the most common problems.

Basic requirements for plastering:

If the temperature in the room is above 23 degrees Celsius, and you are going to carry out plastering work on a brick surface, then you must first moisturize it;

High -quality plaster is performed using the beacons with a thickness not exceeding the thickness of the plaster layer;

The surface must be used immediately after the solution was applied;

With the method of multi -layer plastering, you must wait for the moment when the first layer grabs, and only then apply the previous one;

Use sheets from gypsum plaster for brick walls is necessary only if special mounting compounds are used;

The stucco gypsum products must be installed only after the base layer is completely grasped and dried. Architectural decorative elements must be attached to reinforcement, which in turn should be mounted in the directly design of the walls.

It is also worth noting that it is advisable to follow not only the requirements, but also the recommendations of experienced builders. The thickness of a single -layer plaster for almost any solutions should not exceed 2 cm. The exception is a gypsum solution, the thickness of the layer of plaster in which should not exceed 1.5 cm.

It is not recommended to plaster the coating on the base with rust, fat and other spots, since subsequently this can lead to detachment and cracking of plaster.

All types of plaster are divided into three types: ordinary, improved and elite. As a rule, the characteristics of the plaster differ depending on its type. Conventional plaster is usually used for exterior decoration of buildings and interior decoration of various non -residential premises. Improved plaster is used in the decoration of public buildings, apartments and other residential premises. Elite plaster is used in places with increased finishing requirements or where the owners do not save on building materials.
