The original Spanish garden implies symmetrical plantings, but recently this principle has gradually become a thing of the past. The main features of the Spanish garden include its privacy from prying eyes. Quite often, it is surrounded by a high hedge, which can be western thuja, one-pistil hawthorn or blackthorn.
There should not be many fruit trees in a Spanish garden. Usually they are placed on the periphery. Cherries, pears, plums and apple trees are an excellent choice. Their trunks are covered with some flowering bush.
A pond is usually located in the center of a Spanish-style garden, and it is surrounded by a rose garden. There are no lawns in such gardens; instead, the territory is paved with bright stones. Moorish lamps in the form of chandeliers, decorated with carvings and fixed on elongated pendants, are often used as decoration of the territory. Carving and mosaics, plaster and stone products, stucco, forging, Saltilla tiles are also welcome.
